Vehicle Safety Certification
Center (
VSCC
)
is a non-profit organization under the
supervision of the Ministry of Transportation And Communications (MOTC). The
purpose of founding of VSCC is to research vehicle safety regulation and
administration system, to assist MOTC by providing services related to vehicle
safety certification, and to enhance the vehicle safety in
Taiwan.

|  | Purpose of Founding | | In order to enhance the vehicle safety administration system, the Ministry of Transportation And Communications (MOTC) referred to foreign system which separate certification and testing affairs, MOTC began planning and advancing certification institution since 2006. For years of planning and preparation, Vehicle Safety Certification Center (hereinafter referred to as the VSCC), was formally established on March 31st, 2009
